2010 Milan San Remo

Join Italian Cycling Tours in San Remo for a weekend of the Milano-San Remo. Ride out on the course and see the professionals race by out on the route. On the Sunday you take part in the Granfondo Gazzetta Challenge, including the famous Poggio and Cipressa climbs.
San Remo is a large town that sits on the Mediterranean coast in the region of Imperia in North Western Italy, it is around 30km from the French border and 120km from Genova. It was a place that was frequented by the English upper class in the 19th century, of which some visible traces thanks to things like the Hanbury Gardens. For Italians San Remo is famous for 2 things, one being the bike race and the other being a very long winded annual music competition that the whole country goes mad for – ask any Italian!
