One of the hardest and most well known Granfondo's in Italy, the Nove Colli is one of the majors that everyone wants to ride in Italy. Based in Cesenatico, on the Adriactic coast, the Nove Colli takes in the rolling hills in land from the coast. This year there is also the added bonus of the arrival of the 13th stage of the Giro d'Italia.
The long weekend will be based in Cesenatico, a town that is on the Adriatic coast, with the Appennini mountain range rising gradually behind it. This weekend will give you the opportunity to ride one of the biggest Granfondo's in Italy and also see the Giro d'Italia. The Friday sees the arrival of the 13th stage of the Giro d'Italia on its arrival from Porto Recanati. On the Saturday will ride out into the hills that run along the coast to explore the riding in the area. Then, on the Sunday, it is the Nove Colli Granfondo. Tour Programme
Thursday 20 May 2010 - Arrival in Cesenatico and Preparation
Collection of participants from Bologna Airport and transfer to your hotel in Cesenatico. Time to unpack, prepare bicycles and equipment for the next two days' group cycling tour and the 2010 Novi Colli and also relax a little from your journey. If you cannot wait to check out the immediate locality then you can take a short cycle ride on your own or take a stroll through the town.
Evening – Dinner at leisure.
Friday 21 May 2010 - Giro d'Italia 13th stage from Porto Recanati to Cesenatico.
Today you will have the opportunity to take a short ride, take in the atmosphere as everyone waits for the arrival of the Giro d'Italia. If feeling keen you can ride out and see the race on one of the 2 final climbs that they tackle before the sprint finish into Cesenatico.

Saturday 22 May 2010 - Group ride around Cesenatico area.
We will head out south along the coast before turning inland towards the hills behind Cesenatico as we take a gentle ride to stretch your legs before the Granfondo the day after.

Sunday 23 May 2010 - Nove Colli Granfondo.
An early start for the departure of the 2010 Nove Colli. This is your chance to take part in one of the most popular Granfondo's in Italy. There are 2 course available, the standard 130km course (1870m climbing over 4 climbs) and the the 200km course (3840m climbing over 9 climbs). Which ever course you take it will be a very memorable ride.
Evening - Celebration Dinner at local resturant.
Monday 24 May 2010 - Departure from Cesenatico.
Morning transfer of participants to Bologna airport for the return flights home.
