Lake Como, Madonna del Ghisallo and Muro di Sormano

Lake Como is one of the most beautiful places in Italy, it is also a place that is linked to cycling. Its the place that the Giro di Lombardia race always plays out its decisive moves - thanks to the mountains that rise up from the edge of the lake. It is also the home to the chapel dedicated to all cyclists – the Madonna del Ghisallo - the chapel sits at the top of one of the most famous climbs in the area. In the area there is also many other famous and hard climbs, including the Muro di Sormano (the wall of Sormano) - made famous thanks to it incredible steepness.
The long weekend will be based in Como, the city sits on the southern edge of the lake, our hotel will be in the centre of the city. On the Saturday we take on the famous Ghisallo and Sormano climbs. The day after, Sunday, we will ride out along the lake north, before taking a ferry cross the lake and climbing into the Val Sassina valley and looping back down to Lecco. See full information

Tour Piemonte

This 9 day trip is a great way to see Piemonte and all its varied terrain, from the lakes to the north, the Alps to the west and wine regions to the South, Piemonte has it all. We will take in the shores of lake Maggiore, a climb up to Sestriere and a ride through the rolling hills covered in Barolo vines. Piemonte is the home of the Slowfood movement, you can be sure that you will find some of the best foods and wines here.
This 9 day tour starts in Lake Como in neighbouring Lombardia and runs anticlockwise around Lake Maggiore and the Alps, before heading south down through the famous wine regions of Barolo, Dolcetto and Barbera before finishing in Asti. Nove Colli - 9 Colli – Giro d'Italia, Cesenatico

One of the hardest and most well known Granfondo's in Italy, the Nove Colli is one of the majors that everyone wants to ride in Italy. Based in Cesenatico, on the Adriactic coast, the Nove Colli takes in the rolling hills in land from the coast. This year there is also the added bonus of the arrival of the 13th stage of the Giro d'Italia.
The long weekend will be based in Cesenatico, a town that is on the Adriatic coast, with the Appennini mountain range rising gradually behind it. This weekend will give you the opportunity to ride one of the biggest Granfondo's in Italy and also see the Giro d'Italia. The Friday sees the arrival of the 13th stage of the Giro d'Italia on its arrival from Porto Recanati. On the Saturday will ride out into the hills that run along the coast to explore the riding in the area. Then, on the Sunday, it is the Nove Colli Granfondo.
